The Villa Maria Retirement Home had an aging two pipe fan coil system that was failing and needed to upgrade the plant and provide new chilled water and hot water riser throughout the facility. An Engineer called Powers looking for an affordable solution to the retirement home's problems. 

The E.L. Bolton State Office Building in Mississippi was in the middle of construction on their first floor when it seemed they had missed something. As part of the project they were replacing some ductwork and upgrading the controls on the air handler units. When the spaces were not maintaining temperature, they asked us to look at the problem.

Due to rising energy costs, HVAC systems must perform more efficiently. With 25-year-old inefficient chillers and progressively higher costs to maintain the chillers, it became apparent to the management of the Simmons Tower that it was time to replace them.

PowersFEST, our annual Customer Appreciation Event was different this fall. Normally the event draws 200-300 customers joining us at the Powers HQ for an evening of fellowship, food, and prizes as we show our appreciation for our customers who have allowed us to work for them on over 10,000 projects over the past 35 years.
